Bilateral meeting between Mr. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary

On 24 September 2024, Mr. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his high appreciation for the progress made in bilateral relations, highlighting the high level exchange of visits and the convening of bilateral talks including the Joint Economic Committee, Bilateral Consultations, and the Consultative Session on the Peace Charter between the two National Assemblies. Mr. Péter Szijjártó expressed his sincere thanks and satisfaction for the close cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Mr. Péter Szijjártó signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Exchange Programme on Higher Education between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary for the years 2024-2029.
